Fire GUI & Workflows don't work without Web Access

Hi Support, I have observed that the Fire GUI & Workflow Execution (Workflow Creation etc seems to work fine) don't work without Internet Access. A likely root cause is that the the HTML & Angular Templates seem to be loading the gstatic chart loaders from the web (Amongst Several Others). This problems renders sparkioflows unusable in production (since usually production servers have firewall rules to restrict web access). Can you kindly investigate if this can be corrected ?

Thanks for that Satheesh!

Fire web servers do not need to have internet access. The client machine from where the user is accessing it needs to have internet access for the google chart libraries used.

Hi Jayant, In this specific use case the system is being deployed at a Bank. Bank's usually don't have Internet Access Enabled by default for their personnel desktop & PC's (due to tight banking norms). Do you see anyway to server these JS as static scripts ?

Hi Satheesh, thanks for the details! If needed we can always add another charting library which can be included in the binary.

Do not think that the terms of service of Google Charts allows offline use. So that is the limiting point from Google Charts point of view.

Thanks Jayant! I would like to comment that SparkFlows is a good tool/initiative you have come up with. This certainly can be game changer within the Industry.

In the United Kingdom, numerous universities have started a new trend. This trend is offering unconditional offers to students so that the universities can fulfil their quota of students on their campus. It would not be wrong to here that this is not only unethical but that significantly decreases the credibility of the universities too. Various universities aim to ensure that they are seen as the institution in which there are soaring numbers of students so that it is seen as the best campus in the area. However, the government of the educational sector believes that this is completely unacceptable. Some universities are playing a major role in undermining the credibility of higher education by opting to provide unconditional offers. Moreover, these universities do not even see the exam results of the students, when the latter is passing out of school and colleges. This creates an impression that marks do not matter, and that the student can get into any university easily. It would not be wrong to state here that such students tend to lose interest in their studies and would opt for different ways to complete their work. One of them being opting for essay writing UK assistance that offers reference help related to any topic. The universities in the UK are creating an impression that there is no concept of criteria or qualifications. Any student, even those with absolutely no capability can join even the high-ranked universities. In a way, this is taking away the chance of those students who are qualified or have the requirements to be part of the high-ranked universities. The government needs to control this situation and ensure that universities stop this unconditional offers immediately. This is playing with the careers of students which should be stopped with immediate effect.

In event that Fire UI is running on a different port, the configuration needs to be updated on Administration > Configuration > App > app.postMessageURL = Fire UI Custom Port else submission fails with the below error. Sending 'POST' request to URL : http://localhost:8080/messageFromSparkJob Response Code : 404 18/05/04 10:25:25 ERROR workflowengine.YARNRestWorkflowContext: http://localhost:8080/messageFromSparkJob Probably this also needs to be updated here
